Had the chicken burger it was excellent. Nice little restaurant old style with home-cooked style meals in a casual friendly atmosphere. Nice to stop somewhere off the road that isn't a chain.
I hadnt been to valemount since around 2008 when I worked out here, I frequented this truck stop back then and it was always the best, fast forward to now, and back I come for work and I was so happy to see this place is still here, and the food is still the best, you can’t beat these places, they just don’t exists anymore, very greatful thank you
Always just really delicious homestyle food. And good milkshakes. And pleasant, friendly service. Not the fastest but that also ensures the more fresh, home-cooked taste since it's all done to order. And very well-priced. I always seem to get the special for dinner, usually get the cup of soup to start (really good soups), and I am never disappointed. My husband loves the hamburger steak dinner. Always a treat to eat there :D

Food, gas, mechanic all reasonable priced and all on one lot. I had driven by this restaurant numerous times. I stopped for a change and was pleased I did so. Other reviewers indicated the food was like home cooking. I agree with them. Service was warm and friendly. One was made to feel at home. The prices are excellent as compared to what places in Valemont are charging (I included a copy of their menu for reference purposes). Conveniently located on the same lot is a gas station that is self serve and open 24/7 365 days/yr. You do need to pay at the pumps, I didn’t see an attendant. Their price for gas is always lower than in Valemont (where only Tempo post their price). Separate from the gas station but again on the same lot is an old fashion service mechanic shop. I saw them assisting a traveller with their tires. Overall, a great experience of old fashioned service. Please note, the location is not very well lit.
As a tourist from the UK this has been the best breakfast so far! Home made hash browns, salad, extra tomatoes and a home made vegetable filled Spanish omelette. Delicious. Very lively with lots of locals on a Saturday morning. They catered wonderfully well for a vegetarian, dairy free person
Good food for a good price. And the quantity or food for your dollar in this whole area, and made from scratch when ordered. Though It was a Monday at 7 am when I went in... The best thing about this place is it has that down home small town feel that has been frozen in time in the best possible way.... last of the old school truck stop diners. Run by great, friendly people. And home of the beat strawberry rhubarb pie I ever had!!! Which says alot since I don't usually like that kind
